Hello fellow porn watchers.

Today again marks the day where one month of the year has passed and that means it is again time for me to give you a quick overview over the things I have done in the last few weeks.

This month was a tough one. Lately our stakeholders are giving us more and more stuff to finish at work, so I was quite busy at my regular workplace. Additionally I had to start preparations since I’ll be having some fairly important exams in the coming months, but I’ll keep you up to date on that.

Other than that, version 0.2.0 release on the first of January for you beautiful supporters and for the public on the 14th. Release time is always quite busy. I get a lot of messages, for which I always take my time to properly answer them and also a lot of bug fixing happens during that time. Bugfixing also makes it more difficult to start work on the next version, due to possible changes, even though I use a versioning system to manage my code. Unfortunately all the images and videos are too memory intensive so, I can’t really use that system to manage those. I built a script to help me manage those images, but switching between versions still takes more time than implementing most of the fixes themselves, so I usually work on something else that doesn’t require work on the game itself, like updating the wiki.

This time however I worked on the Christmas event chain. Since I outsourced it into a mod, it is not bound to the game itself and can be used for any version starting with 0.2.0. So most of the time worked on that event, and boy am I happy to have finally finished it. Unfortunately I had to change the events a bit, since the original plan for the events would’ve taken longer and I’m already late. Also having over 20 characters in one scene makes my PC cry, so that also took some time.

The Christmas event mod has been released yesterday for my supporter and will be available for everyone on the 7th of February.

Now that I have finished that, I will be taking a break from working on the game for the next 1-2 weeks. During that time I will not be making a lot of work on the game, but I will start planning the next steps for the next version, which will be 0.2.1.
